Use of

Cold-pressed oils are sensitive to high temperatures, so Oilika pumpkin oil is not suitable for frying or baking. Oilika cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil will give your food a nice pumpkin flavour. Use it:

  • For flavouring cold dishes (salads, sauces).
  • For flavouring already prepared foods (hot dishes, porridges, cooked vegetables).
  • To complement pumpkin dishes such as purees and baked pumpkin.
  • Add to sweet and savoury porridges, replacing butter with vegetable fat.
  • For skin care as a base oil with essential oils.

Storage at

To enjoy the perfect taste of pumpkin oil, remember:

  • Store the oil in its original packaging. The packaging and dark glass further protect the oil from the effects of light and temperature changes.
  • Store the oil in a cool, dark place, and keep it in the fridge when open.
  • The date of manufacture and the expiry date are indicated on the packaging.
  • Use the oil for 1 year from the date of manufacture.

NB! If you store pumpkin oil in the fridge, you will notice that sediment will form in the bottle. This is normal because pumpkin oil is higher in saturated fatty acids, which solidify at low temperatures. In this case, take the oil out of the fridge, wait until the sediment disappears, use the oil and put it back in the fridge.
