NB! Cold-pressed oils are very sensitive to high temperatures, which is why Oilika barley oil is not suitable for frying or baking.
We recommend using Oilika blackcurrant oil in savoury dishes:
Storage at
Oilika blackcurrant oil, like our other oils, has a short shelf life. You get the maximum benefit and the best taste when you consume our oil fresh. It is better to order in small quantities so that you can enjoy fresh oil.
To fully enjoy the taste of our butter, remember:
NB! If you store blackcurrant oil in the fridge, you will notice that sediment will form in the bottle. This is normal, as the oil is higher in saturated fatty acids, which solidify at low temperatures. In this case, take the oil out of the fridge, wait for the sediment to disappear, use the oil and put it back in the fridge.
