Taste
Linseed oil has a golden, distinctive colour and a pleasant taste, with no bitterness because it is cold pressed and sent to you freshly pressed.
Technology
At Oilika, the oil is cold-pressed (at room temperature below 25°C) in a hydraulic press without any contact with metal, thus preserving all the beneficial properties of the oil.
Origin of raw materials
We're also committed to supporting local producers, which is why we buy our flaxseed from family-owned Linagro OÜ. https://lina.ee/. Like us, the company is located in Põlva County. This means that Oilika linseed oil is produced in south-eastern Estonia.

NB! Cold-pressed oils are very sensitive to high temperatures, which is why Oilika linseed oil is not suitable for frying or baking.

NB! Oilika flaxseed oil has a short shelf life and changes its taste over time. This is normal and is due to the presence of omega-3 fatty acids, which are very sensitive to external factors (light, storage time, temperature). For this reason, we do not recommend ordering large quantities of linseed oil.
