What makes Oilika sesame oil unique?

100% Sesame oil. It is very useful to enrich the daily diet. The oil is cold-pressed from white sesame seeds. It is widely used in Indian and Asian cuisine.

As the seeds are not heat treated, the beer has a pleasant, delicate sesame flavour.

Technology

At Oilika, oil is pressed in a hydraulic press at room temperature using the cold-pressing method and the oil does not come into contact with metal. In the cold-pressing method, the oil temperature is kept below 25°C to preserve the oil's beneficial properties.

USE.

Use Oilika sesame oil to season cold dishes (salads, sauces,..).
Or to flavour already prepared dishes (hot meals, porridges, cooked vegetables).
Thanks to its flavour, Oilika sesame oil is well suited for Asian dishes.
In addition, Oilika sesame oil can be used not only for meals but also as a base oil for skin care with essential oils.

NB! Cold-pressed oils are very sensitive to high temperatures, so Oilika sesame oil is not suitable for frying or baking.

STORAGE

To fully enjoy the taste of our Oilika sesame oil, remember:

  • When you get our oil and come home with it, put it in the fridge.
  • Store the oil in a cool and dark place, unopened it should be kept in the fridge.
  • Store sesame oil in its original packaging. Paper packaging and dark glass further protect the oil from external influences (light, temperature changes).
  • Store sesame oil in a sealed bottle, the date of preparation and the shelf life of the oil are indicated on the packaging.
  • After opening the bottle, use Oilika Sesame Oil for 4 months.
  • NB! If you store sesame oil in the fridge, you will notice sediment forming in the bottle. This is normal because sesame oil is higher in saturated fatty acids, which solidify at low temperatures. In this case, take the oil out of the fridge, wait for the sediment to disappear, use the oil and put it back in the fridge.
