Oilika is a family-owned company based in South-Estonia, producing genuine cold-pressed oils.
Sometimes a chance event can change the way a person looks at the world and the everyday things around them.
The first idea came when my husband and I were watching a programme about how one of the most counterfeited products in the world is vegetable oil.
Another incident occurred while travelling in Latvia, when a tourist farm offered freshly hand-pressed hemp and flax oil for tasting.
We searched for a long time for suitable equipment and finally bought and installed our first two presses. First we pressed linseed oil, then hemp oil. We obtained a fresh and tasty oil, with all the beneficial properties that nature has given us, and which is not damaged by high temperatures (pressing max 25 degrees), prolonged storage or the solvents used for refined oils.
Appreciating all the benefits of real cold-pressed oil (which can literally be squeezed and immediately added to a salad), we decided to set up a family business and bring the kids along. Both production and marketing are handled exclusively by members of our family.
Our aim is to introduce people to the highest quality cold-pressed oils that retain all their natural properties. We press the oil only after we receive your order to ensure maximum freshness.
